Stave off boredom with new children’s learning resources
As part of the AtlaS.WH project, Edinburgh World Heritage has produced more educational resources to complement its already popular ‘Old Edinburgh’ range.  Together, all the activities work together to explore Edinburgh’s past and present through unusual and hands-on ways, such as making a ducking stool out of cardboard tubes, exploring light and shadow through self-portraits, practicing debating through a simple new card game, and of course, designing postcards about the World Heritage Site.
As children across Europe put a pause on going to school as the current global pandemic runs its course, we invite young people all over Europe to have a look at these resources, practice their English, and get to know the ‘Athens of the North’ a little bit better from the comfort of their own homes.
